FIXED ABODE IV: Mercy won’t be rationed

Join us for the fourth iteration of Fixed Abode at Steppenwolf Theatre Company's 1700 Theatre, on May 24th at 8:00pm featuring house band She's Folks, cosmic vintage sirens Babe-alon 5, vocalist Hillary Marren, standup comic Stephanie Weber, poet Quentin Rynbrandt, singer-songwriter Daniel Fager, and much more! Net proceeds benefit Cabrini Green Legal Aid, an organization that seeks justice and mercy for those living in poverty by providing legal services that strengthen individual lives, families, and communities.

Cabrini Green used to be the fixed abode of some of our city's most vulnerable populations. After 40 years of gradual displacement, Cabrini Green may no longer look the way it used to, but one thing has not changed: the void of legal representation, wraparound services, and advocacy for individuals affected by the criminal justice system in Chicago and beyond. Cabrini Green Legal Aid fills that void, and we could not be more honored to raise awareness and support for their profoundly important work.

Fixed Abode IV: Mercy Won't Be Rationed is presented as part of Steppenwolf’s LookOut Series.
